you will be responsible for the safe transportation of heavy mobile equipment using specialised float trailers and heavy haul trucks.

Your responsibilities will include

- Transporting oversized and heavy equipment to and from project sites - Loading, securing and unloading machinery in accordance with transport regulations and company procedures - Conducting pre-start inspections and ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy - Completing required transport documentationPlanning safe transport routes and complying with permit requirements where applicable - Maintaining compliance with state and federal road transport legislation - Working closely with site personnel to coordinate equipment movements - Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current MC Driver Licence - Experience operating heavy haul trucks and float trailers - Demonstrated experience transporting oversized loads - Previous experience within the construction, civil or mining industries - Sound knowledge of state and federal transport regulations - Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) Desirable - Experience operating earthmoving or mobile plant - Relevant machinery tickets to assist with loading and unloading equipment - Dogging, Rigging or Forklift Licence - Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment If you're an experienced MC Driver looking for a long-term role transporting heavy machinery with a reputable contractor, we'd love to hear from you.
