We are seeking a skilled and trade-qualified Metal Fabricator to join our busy production workshop. You will work on a diverse range of fabrication projects—from structural components and custom transport equipment to specialized sheet metal and heavy plate assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications accurately.
- Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Cut, bend, shape, fit, and assemble metal parts using workshop machinery (press brakes, guillotines, bandsaws, plasma cutters).
- Prepare materials, dress welds,
and ensure finished products meet tight tolerances and high quality standards.
- Conduct structural fit-ups and maintain alignment during welding processes.
- Adhere strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and Victorian OHS requirements in the workshop. What We’re Looking For
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Metal Fabricator or Boilermaker) or equivalent recognized Australian/international trade qualification.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in structural steel or sheet metal fabrication with strong MIG/TIG welding skills.
Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and work autonomously from complex fabrication drawings.
