Mobile Phone Repair & Testing Technician

Part-Time / Full-Time

Location: Docklands, Melbourne

Elephone is looking for a Mobile Phone Repair & Testing Technician to join our team.

For this role, we care more about attention to detail, responsibility and consistent quality than how many years of experience you have.

Repair experience is helpful, but we are also open to someone with less experience who is careful, willing to learn and takes pride in doing the job properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Inspect and test mobile phones for functional and cosmetic issues
- Carry out phone repairs and component replacements
- Complete quality checks before devices move to the next stage
- Test functions such as cameras, Face ID, buttons, speakers, microphones, charging and connectivity
- Record testing and repair results accurately
- Keep your workstation, tools and parts clean and organised
- Follow repair and quality procedures carefully
- Work closely with the rest of the team to maintain consistent quality

Previous phone repair, electronics repair or device testing experience is preferred, but it is not the most important factor.

Training can be provided for the right person.
