Key responsibilities

- Inspect vehicle engines, transmissions, and components
- Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Remove faulty parts and component.
- Carry out repair action required to manufacturer’s specifications and relevant standards.
- Replace defective parts and assemble mechanical components; Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired.
- Conduct routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids, oils and lubricating parts.
- Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
- Supervise and assist junior mechanics in their continual learning and development.
- Conduct roadworthy inspections.
- Perform a variety of duties including tyre fitting, wheel alignments, air con repairs.
- Liaise with vehicle owners to explain problems/issues.
- Skills and Experience Required.
- Have trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanic.
- Qualified in EV and Hybrid vehicle repairs.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in the automotive industry.
- Solid understanding of up-to-date vehicle repair technology.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- High attention to details.
- Ability to work efficiently,



both independently and as part of a team.
- Be hardworking, disciplined, reliable and flexible.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and time management abilities.
- Current driver’s licence.

$80,000 to $85,000 annual salary package plus superannuation to the successful applicant.
