Traffic Force is expanding and is seeking both experienced Traffic Controllers and individuals recent to the industry to join our Bunbury team. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and looking for a hands-on role with long-term opportunity, we want to hear from you.
About the role
As a Traffic Controller, you’ll play a critical role in keeping worksites, roadworkers, and the public safe by implementing approved traffic management plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up temporary traffic management worksites using signs and devices
- Controlling traffic, including construction vehicles and road users
- Monitoring worksite traffic, safety, and performance
- Completing worksite safety documentation and records
- Supporting team members across various worksites
- Packing, cleaning, and maintaining signs, devices, and vehicles
About you
We’re open to applicants with prior experience as well as those looking to enter the traffic control industry for the first time. To be successful, you will need:
- A current unrestricted WA C Class Driver’s Licence with a safe driving history
- Current BWTM & Traffic Controller accreditation or willingness to obtain (training provided for suitable candidates)
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- A work history suitable for thorough reference checking
- The ability to pass drug and alcohol screening (ongoing testing applies – zero tolerance)
- Availability for early starts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Flexibility to work away from home, from overnight stays to multi-week assignments
- A professional presentation and physical fitness suitable for a hands-on role
