Training Provider - Digital Learning | Defence

Location: Russell Offices, Canberra ACT - 100% onsite
Minimum security clearance: Current AGSVA NV1
Contract: Up to 120 days, ending 26 February 2027

Pinaka Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Training Provider to support the ongoing renewal and enhancement of a significant Department of Defence ICT system. This role is via a Defence prime contractor.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will design, develop and maintain practical digital learning content that helps users confidently adopt and use the system. This role suits an experienced instructional designer or digital learning specialist who can produce engaging training videos and self-paced learning modules, collaborate with subject matter experts and deliver occasional instructor‑led training.

What you will do

- Produce training videos for people who are new to the system
- Develop and update learning materials as the system is enhanced and uplifted
- Create self‑paced digital training modules that comply with Defence security requirements
- Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to keep training content accurate, relevant and reliable
- Deliver face‑to‑face training sessions on an ad hoc basis
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary delivery team




- Contribute to timely outcomes and improve training processes and materials

What we are looking for

- A current AGSVA NV1 security clearance
- Demonstrated experience designing and producing digital learning content for complex ICT systems
- Solid instructional design and adult learning capability
- Practical experience producing training videos and self‑paced eLearning modules
- Experience maintaining training materials through system, process or policy changes
- Robust stakeholder engagement skills, including working with technical and business subject matter experts
- Confident facilitation and face‑to‑face training delivery skillsli>
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and reliable learning content
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Availability for the duration of the engagement

Highly regarded

- Experience delivering training within Defence, another Australian
- Government agency or a security-controlled environment
- Experience training users on enterprise information management, portfolio management, reporting or business intelligence platforms
- Experience with contemporary video production and eLearning authoring tools
- Qualifications in instructional design, education, training, organisational learning or a related discipline
