Compliance & Governance Specialist (Sydney)

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established superannuation fund, currently looking to bring on a Governance and Compliance Specialist to join their Risk and Compliance team.

The Role

This is a hands-on, generalist compliance role covering:

- Breach management and incident investigation
- Review of disclosure and marketing materials (including PDS-level documents)
- Regulatory reform impact assessments and compliance program monitoring
- AML/CTF and Privacy reviews
- Regular engagement with senior stakeholders, service providers, and regulatory bodies

What We're Looking For

- Experience in superannuation compliance,



or from an APRA-regulated banking environment - advisory/consulting backgrounds are not the focus for this role
- A legal background is a strong plus, though not essential where you bring solid, direct industry compliance experience
- Confident written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage effectively with Executives and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement in navigating complex regulatory requirements
