About Our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Trainer Assessor, you will work across Prestrip combining hands-on production with workforce development. These roles require individuals who can both train and operate production equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Dump Truck Crew Trainers Prestrip (B Crew &
- D Crew)
- Operate &
- Train, assess, and mentor operators on CAT 793 &
- CAT 797 Dump Trucks within Prestrip Department to support production activities
- Coach operators in efficient loading practices, including single-side, double-side, and self-spotting techniques
- Multi Skilled Crew Trainers - Prestrip (C Crew)
- Operate &
- Train, assess, and mentor operators on CAT 793 &
- CAT 797 Dump Trucks, CAT 16, 24 Grader and CAT 777 Watercarts to support production activities
- Coach operators in efficient loading practices, including single-side, double-side, and self-spotting techniques
What You Will Need
- Current Resume detailing relevant mining and training experience
- Current Driver's Licence, Coal Board Medical &
- Standard 11
- Certificate IV in Training &
- Assessment (TA16 or higher)
- Current Training Transcript with SSE-signed skills list demonstrating competency on the required machinery for the position applied for
