Occupational Therapist | The Wesley Hospital

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time

Location: located in the peaceful surrounds of Auchenflower, The Wesley Hospital is just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City

Remuneration: $44 - $65/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Employee Benefits

An integral part of our team at The Wesley Hospital as an Occupational Therapist, you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

Joining our team as an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to maximise their function and independence in their daily activities while rotating across Acute and Inpatient Rehabilitation Services.

Our Occupational Therapy Service is frequently involved in the care of patients referred by specialist doctors across a broad range of clinical areas including neurology, surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, palliative care and general medicine.

With a focus on delivering high-quality clinical care, you'll recognise the importance of multidisciplinary approaches to rehabilitation, bringing an open and collaborative approach to patient-centred care.

What makes a difference for us?

Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting

Relevant qualifications and current AHPRA registration

Strong evidence-based clinical practice and problem-solving skills

Commitment to teamwork and high-level communication skills

Experience within rehabilitation services will be highly regarded

NDIS experience desirable
