Due to continued growth, we are seeking confidential expressions of interest from experienced health professionals to join our Victorian-based team.

Your Opportunity

As the Interim OES Team Manager, you will lead the Original Employer Services team to deliver high-quality occupational rehabilitation services and strong return to work outcomes. This is a fixed-term position to 2 July 2027 , with the possibility of extension. You will oversee Team Leaders and consultants, drive performance, quality and service delivery standards, and support operational effectiveness across referrals, reporting, compliance, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

Requirements What You'll Do: Lead and manage the OES team, including Team Leaders, Occupational Rehabilitation Consultants and Senior Occupational Rehabilitation Consultants

Manage a reduced portfolio of cases to maintain connection to the purpose of the role and facilitate positive outcomes for all stakeholders. Hold accountability for team performance, including return to work rates, sustainability outcomes, conversions, quality and service standards

Oversee file reviews, report checking, consultant support activities, handovers and induction processes to ensure service continuity and quality

Embed WorkSafe, ISO and organisational requirements across OES practice, documentation and audit readiness

Analyse performance data, identify trends and provide monthly reporting on risks, themes, improvement opportunities and outcomes





Support referral allocation, consultant capacity planning, complaints resolution and stakeholder communication

Represent OES professionally with Agents, employers, workers, treating health practitioners, unions and other stakeholders

Professional development, operational support and the opportunity to contribute to service quality, innovation and business improvement A Carlton-based role with occasional travel to workplaces and stakeholder sites as part of service delivery and leadership support What We're Looking For: Essential: Tertiary allied health qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Physiology

Relevant professional registration, membership or accreditation as applicable, such as AHPRA, ASORC or ESSA

Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing performance and supporting capability development in occupational rehabilitation or a comparable service environment

Strong working knowledge of occupational rehabilitation, WorkSafe requirements, file review processes, report quality expectations and ISO-aligned quality systems

Ability to analyse performance data, identify trends, prepare management reporting and implement performance improvement actions

Ability to manage competing priorities across leadership, compliance,



operations, stakeholder management and business contribution

Minimum 5 years' experience in the occupational rehabilitation industry, including leadership experience

Current driver's licence, roadworthy and insured car, and ability to travel to workplaces and stakeholder sites Desirable: Experience participating in Agent file reviews, performance meetings, quarterly reviews or ISO audit preparation

Experience contributing to business development, repeat referral opportunities, innovation or service improvement initiatives Work Workplace: This fixed-term role is primarily based in Carlton, Victoria, and is available to July 2027, with the possibility of extension. Occasional travel to workplaces and stakeholder sites is required. You will work closely with Team Leaders, consultants, management and external stakeholders to support quality service delivery, operational consistency and sustainable return to work outcomes.
