About the Role

As a General Practice Medical Administrator, you’ll be the face of the business, the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a warm, efficient, and qualified experience from the moment they walk through the door or call the practice.

The Second in Charge skillfully guides the team through and completes all administrative tasks, showing team spirit and efficiency. You must be a well balanced leader.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who have:

- Experience in a busy General Practice or Allied Health setting (ideally supporting 10+ GPs)





- Excellent communication skills; confident on the phone, fast and accurate on the keyboard, and always friendly

- Experience using Best Practice software (or similar medical software)

- A positive, can-do attitude with a professional and approachable manner

- The ability to work independently and stay calm on busy days

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Reliability, honesty, and punctuality

- Flexibility to work across practice hours, including occasional early mornings or weekend shifts
