Do you love solving complex scheduling puzzles and making chaos look organised?
Then keep reading... because this is not your typical administration, logistics or scheduling role.
You might come from workforce planning, hospitality, aviation, healthcare, customer service, operations, or even project coordination. What matters most is that you're the person everyone relies on to keep things moving, think three steps ahead, and find solutions before problems become crises.
Onsite, we call it a Clinical Logistics Manager.
Think of the role as being the air traffic controller of a busy clinical research centre. You'll be responsible for ensuring the right people, rooms and resources come together at the right time so participant visits run smoothly, efficiently and with an exceptional experience.
You don't need a healthcare background to succeed. If you love planning, organising, analysing information and making quick decisions in a fast-paced setting, you could be exactly who we're looking for.
About Emeritus Research
Emeritus Research improves world health by expertly managing clinical trials that accelerate medical advancements. We partner with leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and have supported a wide range of trials bringing today's medicines to market.
Privately owned and backed by an ambitious, supportive Board, Emeritus has the agility to innovate, adapt and grow. Over the past six years, we've expanded significantly in capacity, people and trial opportunities while maintaining an unwavering focus on safety, quality and participant experience.
At Emeritus, every role plays a critical part in trial success, and every team member is valued for their expertise, ideas and solution-focused mindset.
About the role
You'll be the operational heartbeat of our clinical trials clinic, coordinating participant flow, staffing and resources to ensure visits run efficiently and participants have a positive experience.
- Coordinate the day-to-day flow of participants through the clinic

- Analyse trends and provide operational insights to management
- Work closely with clinical and operational teams to maximise throughput and reduce idle time
- Communicate with participants regarding wait times and visit progress
- Contribute ideas and improvements that enhance the participant experience and operational performance
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Love organising people, schedules and resources
- Enjoy solving operational problems and finding smarter ways of working
- Stay calm and composed when priorities change
- Naturally think ahead and anticipate issues before they arise
- Can confidently make decisions and keep things moving
- Enjoy working with data, trends and reports
- Have strong communication skills and can influence others to achieve outcomes
- Take pride in creating great experiences for customers, patients or clients
What we need from you:
- Experience in scheduling, workforce planning, logistics, operations, coordination or resource allocation
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Confidence using technology, systems and spreadsheets
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or appropriate work rights in Australia
Healthcare experience is welcome, but not essential. We're more interested in your ability to plan, coordinate, communicate and solve problems. Keen to join the team?
Then send us your cover letter and resume and we'll be in touch. Salary will be negotiated based on your experience, skills and qualifications.
We look forward to meeting you!
Please note, applications will be assessed as they are received and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
