New Way Logistics is a fast-growing Australian logistics company specialising in third-party warehousing and transportation solutions. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to join our Sydney branch. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Sydney branch, with a strong focus on warehouse operations, transport scheduling, fleet management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Driver / Fleet Management

(1) Manage driver rosters, daily task allocation and performance.

(2) Ensure driver training and compliance requirements are maintained.

(3) Ensure fleet operations comply with company requirements and applicable regulations.

Operations & Dispatch

(1) Manage daily transport schedules, vehicle allocation and delivery operations.

(2) Coordinate with customers, drivers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

(3) Monitor operational performance and manage delays, breakdowns and other operational issues.

Warehouse Management

(1) Manage daily warehouse operations, workflow and labour allocation.

(2) Supervise warehouse productivity, work quality, inventory accuracy and site standards.

(3) Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping and operational procedures are properly followed.

Team & Site Management

(1) Lead and manage warehouse and transport staff, including casual and temporary workers.

(2) Allocate resources, monitor attendance and performance, and provide coaching and support.

(3) Coordinate effectively with Management, Sales, Customer Service, Finance and HR.

Experience

(1) Previous experience in warehouse management, transport operations, logistics or 3PL is required.

(2) Experience in vehicle scheduling / dispatch is highly preferred.

(3) Experience managing warehouse or transport staff is highly regarded.

Licences & Practical Skills

(1) Current Forklift Licence is highly preferred.

(2) Heavy Vehicle Licence is highly regarded.

(3) Willing to be hands-on and actively involved in operations when required.

Other skills

(1) Solid leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.

(2)



Able to manage different types of staff and provide clear direction.

(3) Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong communication skills.

(4) Reliable, responsible and willing to take ownership.

(5) Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Work information:

Work Location: Wetherill Park, Sydney NSW

Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; 1-hour lunch break

主要职责

运营及车辆调度

负责每日运输计划、车辆调度及配送运营管理。





协调客户、司机及仓库团队，确保运营顺利进行。

监督运营表现，并处理延误、车辆故障及其他运营异常。

仓库管理

负责仓库日常运营、工作流程及人员安排。

监督仓库工作效率、工作质量、库存准确性及现场管理标准。

确保仓库安全、现场整洁及各项运营流程得到有效执行。

团队及现场管理

负责仓库及运输团队管理，包括临时及兼职员工。

合理分配人员及资源，监督出勤和工作表现，并提供指导与支持。

与管理层、销售、客服、财务及HR保持高效沟通与协调。

工作经验要求

具有仓库管理、运输运营、物流或3PL相关工作经验。

具有车辆调度 / 运输调度经验者优先。

有仓库或运输团队管理经验者优先。

证照及实际操作能力

持有有效叉车证者优先。

持有大卡车 / 重型车辆驾照者优先。

愿意深入现场，并在需要时参与实际运营工作。

领导及沟通能力

具备较强的领导、协调及问题解决能力。

能够管理不同类型的员工，并提供清晰的工作安排。

中英文流利，具备良好的沟通及协调能力。

可靠、有责任心，并能够主动承担责任。

具备基础至中等程度的电脑操作能力。
