Role Description The Owner role at HMB SOFT is a full time, on-site position located in the Greater Sydney Area, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations and strategic direction. Day-to-day tasks include setting business goals, managing budgets, and making key decisions about product development, service offerings, and market expansion. The Owner will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, establish clear priorities, and ensure effective communication across all functions.

This role also involves building and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, and representing the company in external meetings and industry events.



The Owner is expected to monitor business performance, manage risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in business leadership or entrepreneurship, with the ability to define strategy and drive execution.

- Strong financial management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

- Background in technology, software development, or IT services, with the ability to understand product and service lifecycles.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

- Solid understanding of operational processes, risk management, and compliance requirements relevant to a tech-focused business.

- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Sydney Area and commit to full-time responsibilities.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, technology, or a related field are beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
