About The Role 5x Aviation is seeking a casual/part time Piper PA-31 Navajo Survey Pilot to join its expanding flight operations team, conducting aerial survey missions throughout Australia using specialist survey equipment.

Key Responsibilities Conduct aerial survey operations in the Piper PA-31 Navajo

Complete pre-flight planning, performance, weight and balance and risk assessments

Liaise with survey crews, clients and operational staff

Maintain accurate operational documentation and flight records Essential Requirements Current CPL(A) or ATPL(A)

Current Class 1 or 2 Aviation Medical Certificate





Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and current Flight Review

Minimum 750 hours total flight time

Minimum 50 hours multi-engine, including 25 hours on a PA-31

Demonstrated IFR and remote/regional operating experience

Ability to work away from home for extended periods

Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC Desirable Previous aerial survey, charter or aerial work experience

Instructor, charter or remote area operational experience
