The Opportunity

Join our O&M; team at Sunraysia Solar Farm, the closest township in Balranald, as an Electrician (Field Technician) on an attractive 8 days on, 6 days off or 4 days on, 3 days off roster. This hands-on role focuses on operations and maintenance (O&M;), helping ensure the site performs at peak efficiency.

What we offer:

- Total package of up to $112,500 - $117,500 per annum + super

- Breakdown: $100,000 - $105,000 base salary + $6,250 remote allowance + up to $6,250 performance bonus + super

- Additional overtime and public holiday worked paid at award rates

- Choose from our two roster options (both are 9.5 hour days + 30 min unpaid break):

- 8 days on, 6 days off roster

- 4 days on, 3 days off roster (includes being paid on-call every fourth weekend)

- Local candidates desirable, or company carpooling vehicle from Swan Hill to site and back available

You will be responsible for:





- Performing routine maintenance on equipment

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues

- Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training

- Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics

- Valid electrical qualifications license

- HV switching qualification desirable

- Valid Australian drivers license

- Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar

- Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required

- Sound computer skills

- Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
