St Georges Basin Medical Centre is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly and growing practice on the beautiful NSW South Coast.

This is a varied, hands-on nursing role where you'll have the chance to build relationships with patients, use a broad range of clinical skills and work alongside a supportive team of GPs, nurses and reception staff.

And when the working week is finished, it's finished.

No night shifts. No weekends. Predictable weekday hours.

What your day might look like

One of the great things about general practice nursing is the variety.

You’ll work closely with our GPs and nursing team across areas including:

- Immunisations and vaccinations
- Wound care
- Health assessments and preventative health
- Chronic disease support
- ECGs and spirometry
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Patient education and health promotion
- Infection prevention and control
- Cold-chain management
- Recalls and follow-up care

You’ll have the opportunity to work independently within your scope while having the support of an experienced clinical team around you.

You’ll be a Registered Nurse who is friendly, reliable, organised and genuinely enjoys caring for patients.

You’ll need:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- A patient-focused approach
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team

Previous general practice or primary care experience is highly regarded, as are immunisation qualifications and experience with Best Practice software.

But GP experience isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker.

Salary
