Cremorne
Game on.
GameDay is the market-leading sports management platform trusted by national governing bodies, professional clubs, grassroots associations, and events across Australia, Current Zealand, the UK and Europe. For over 20 years we have powered the engine room of sport; membership, registrations, competitions, ticketing, live scoring, and payments, for the organisations that keep millions of Australians playing the sports they love.
Our Cremorne office is where the local action happens. This is a genuinely fulfilling industry to work in: every partnership you manage helps a club, league, or governing body run better, grow participation, and get more people on the field. If you want a role where your work actually shows up on the weekend at local sport, this is it.
We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to own the relationship with some of our most important Australian partners, the organisations that make Australian sport tick. This is a newly created position, giving you the opportunity to shape the role and make it your own from day one. You'll work across codes including AFL, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Oztag and many more, giving you exposure to a genuinely diverse cross-section of Australian sport.
The role
As Partnerships Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key Australian sporting bodies and associations using the GameDay platform. You will build trusted, long term relationships, drive retention and platform adoption, and be the voice of your partners internally as we continue to innovate.
This role reports to our Senior Manager, Product Growth & Business Operations,
giving you direct visibility into how partner feedback shapes our product roadmap.
You'll be responsible for:
- Owning and growing relationships with a portfolio of key Australian partners
- Acting as the strategic point of contact, understanding each partner's goals and helping them get the most out of GameDay's platform
- Driving renewals, retention, and commercial growth within your portfolio, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and owning revenue targets for your accounts
- Running regular check-ins, business reviews, and onboarding for new features or products
- Working cross-functionally with Support, Product, and Marketing to advocate for your partners and resolve issues quickly
- Keeping a pulse on the Australian sports sector so you can bring insight and ideas to every conversation
About you
- 2-4 years' minimum experience working in the sports sector or sports technology specifically
- Proven experience in account management, client success, or partnership management, ideally in SaaS, tech, or sport
- A relationship builder who partners with clients rather than just services them
- Comfortable managing a portfolio with competing priorities and a mix of stakeholder types, from grassroots volunteers to national executives
- Strong communicator,
confident presenting and running business reviews
- Commercially minded, with a track record of growing account revenue, not just maintaining it
- Genuinely interested in sport and the role technology plays in growing it
- Prior experience with the GameDay platform (Passport) is highly regarded and will put you at the front of the queue. You'll hit the ground running with credibility our partners already trust
Why GameDay
- Hybrid flexibility. 3 days a week in our Cremorne office, 2 working from home
- An industry you can be proud of. Your work directly supports grassroots clubs, national governing bodies, and the organisations that keep Australians active
- A modern, energetic office in the heart of Cremorne, close to cafes, transport, and the river
- Real career growth as part of a growing business with genuine investment in local Australian talent
- A team that plays like one. Our values (Play to Win, Own the Solution, Be a Team Player, Run in Customers' Shoes) are not posters on a wall, they're how we work
