About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 2-3 month assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large and complex organisation, supporting the processing of payroll for approximately 1,000 employees across a range of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs). Following an initial training period in Rosebud, flexible remote working arrangements are available, making this an attractive chance for candidates located across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

- Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees
- Interpret and apply complex EBAs and award conditions
- Manage payroll variations, leave calculations and adjustments
- Process superannuation and ensure payroll compliance
- Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate employee records within TechnologyOne (TechOne)




- Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Ensure adherence to legislative and organisational requirements

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience working with complex EBAs and interpreting industrial agreements
- Exposure to large-volume payroll environments
- Experience using TechnologyOne (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and meet payroll deadlines
