The Opportunity:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer focused Payroll Officer to join our fun, supportive and collaborative Finance team within the business behind market-leading food brands including nudie, Peckish and Black Swan Dips.

This role offers flexibility to be worked across either four or five days per week.

In this role, you’ll manage accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles, support employees with payroll-related enquiries, and ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.

You’ll bring robust payroll knowledge, experience working with systems such as iChris/Chris21 and Kronos, and a proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing
- Working alongside a Senior Payroll Officer, gain exposure to the broader Finance function and liaise closely with our experienced People & Culture team.
- Maintain employee payroll data, timesheets, onboarding and terminations
- Ensure compliance with awards, superannuation and payroll legislation
- Respond to payroll queries and prepare reports for key stakeholders
- Support system and process improvements across payroll

To Succeed With Us:

- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar payroll role, ideally within FMCG or a comparable industry




- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll requirements, award and enterprise agreements
- Experience using iChris/Chris21 and Kronos
- Exceptional attention to detail and intermediate Excel skills
- A customer-focused, organised and adaptable approach
- The ability to work independently, build strong relationships and communicate confidently across the business
