A permanent full time position commencing 12 October 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach PD/H/PE. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA - Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.

- Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
- Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
- Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in PD/H/PE.
- Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
- Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.



DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA - Ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6. GENERAL CAPABILITIES - Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS - Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).

- Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
- The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA. WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
