Plumbing Supervisor – Monarto South (Near Murray Bridge, SA)

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead our Plumbing team at our modern manufacturing facility in Monarto South (near Murray Bridge).

About the Role

As the Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the Plumbing team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate daily activities, mentor team members and work closely with other production departments to achieve manufacturing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and support the Plumbing team on a day-to-day basis

- Allocate work and monitor productivity to meet production schedules

- Install, commission and test plumbing systems within modular buildings

- Oversee retrofitting of existing plumbing installations

- Supervise the fit-out of commercial kitchens within modular buildings

- Oversee the installation and commissioning of commercial kitchen equipment including sinks, dishwashers, grease traps, hot water systems and gas appliances (where licensed)

- Ensure plumbing and gas installations comply with relevant Australian Standards and regulations

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications





- Coordinate with Production Supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are delivered on schedule

- Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work meets company and client requirements

- Promote and maintain Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles

- Coach, mentor and develop apprentices and tradespeople

- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity

- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all WHS policies and procedures

- Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a clean work area

About You To be successful you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Licensed Plumber

- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising plumbing teams

- Experience in commercial kitchen construction, fit-outs or installations highly regarded

- Gas fitting licence or extensive gas installation experience highly desirable

- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems

- Experience within a manufacturing or modular building environment advantageous

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

- Ability to motivate and mentor a team

- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles desirable

- Forklift and EWP licences, or willingness to obtain

- Construction industry tickets and licences advantageous
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
