As a Policy Officer or Analyst within NSW Resources, you will play an important role in supporting strategic policy development, regulatory initiatives and evidence-based decision making across the resources sector. Working on complex and emerging issues, you will undertake research, analysis and stakeholder engagement to identify trends, risks and opportunities that inform policies,

programs and projects supporting the responsible management of New South Wales'

mineral and petroleum resources. Your work will contribute to shaping outcomes that support a safe, sustainable and productive resources industry while delivering benefits for regional communities and the people of NSW. These roles offer the opportunity to work across a diverse range of priority areas, providing meaningful insights and practical solutions that help address current and future challenges facing the resources sector. In these roles, you will:

- Undertake research and analysis to support policy, regulatory and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and assess emerging issues, trends, risks and opportunities affecting the resources sector.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based policy advice,

recommendations and options.

- Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, correspondence and other business documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across government, industry and the community to support informed decision making.
- Translate complex information into explicit and practical advice for a range of audiences.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that support the responsible and sustainable development of NSW's resources sector.

About You
