Penrith is seeking an experieced and energetic Precinct Meeting and Events Floor Manager to join the team.
About Us Panthers Penrith Leagues Club sits proudly in the middle of what has become the impressive and expansive Panthers Precinct. Our club boasts 11 restaurants, 6 bars and 12 meeting, event and function rooms and adrenalin activities. Panthers is a not-for-profit organisation, heavily focused on our members, their guests and our community.

The Role
As a respected leader, you will manage the daily operations across the Panthers Event Centre Precinct (ECP) and Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC) to inspire the Meeting and Events team with your ability to always make customers the number one priority. Catering for a wide range of meetings and events, you will adapt to a variety of settings while always maintaining high standards of service within the team. With a sharp eye for detail, you will ensure customers are impressed by the impeccable presentation of our venue.
The Duties And Responsibilities Include
Manage and lead the daily operations of Meeting & Events
Maintaining high standards of customer service within a variety of function settings;
Resolving customer enquiries and issues;
Food and beverage service;
Shift and staff management;
Function room set up;
Recruiting, training and developing an effective, motivated & happy team;
Completing accurate shift reports and worksheets;
Maintaining a strong focus on WH&S; principles;
Support new business and growth objectives;
Managing efficient and effective stock control processes.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Minimum two years experence in leading a team at supervisor level in an Events facility;
Demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service with a robust attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities;
Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting;
Ability to work on your feet for long periods and assist with function bump in and out;
Outstanding presentation, grooming and communications skills
Certificate IV in Hospitality Supervision (or working towards)
RSA and RCG certifications
