Primary Library Assistant MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter is seeking applications for a Primary Library Assistant to join the College on a part time basis.

Commencement Date: Thursday 3 September 2026 Employment Type: Term-Time Permanent Position Hours: 13.10 hours per week (Thursday & Friday - 8.10am to 3.15pm) Salary Range: SOF Level 3 - $34.17 - $35.62 gross per hour Applications Close: 12.00pm, Tuesday 25 August 2026 (unless filled prior) Please note that applications for this role may be reviewed and interviews conducted as received. MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter MacKillop Catholic College , a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes. About The Role The role of the Library Assistant focuses on the operational and technical aspects of library and information services.



This can involve the operation and maintenance of systems that support acquisition, organisation and day-to-day management of library and information services, resources and client access to information.
