Heavy Vehicle, Prime Mover & Trailer Mechanic Area | Full-Time Opportunity | $40–$60 Per Hour + Super + Overtime

TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced mechanic for a full-time workshop opportunity in the High Wycombe area of Western Australia.

- Heavy Vehicle and Diesel Mechanics
- Prime Mover and Truck Mechanics
- Trailer Mechanics
- Fleet Maintenance Mechanics
- Plant or Agricultural Mechanics with relevant transferable experience
- Mechanically experienced candidates with strong trailer knowledge

The successful candidate will join an established workshop team carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs across a varied range of heavy vehicles and transport equipment.

Your Duties May Include

- Servicing and repairing prime movers, trucks and trailers
- Diagnosing mechanical, braking and suspension faults
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance
- Replacing and repairing mechanical components
- Conducting workshop and occasional breakdown repairs
- Carrying out safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Accurately recording completed work
- Working independently and as part of a workshop team

What We’re Looking For
- A relevant mechanical trade qualification is preferred
- Experience with trucks, trailers, heavy vehicles, plant or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of brake and suspension systems
- Current driver’s licence
- Good communication and basic computer skills
- A reliable, safety-conscious approach
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid Australian working rights





Candidates with extensive relevant experience who do not hold a formal trade qualification are also encouraged to apply.

Highly Regarded

- Forklift licence
- Heavy vehicle driver’s licence
- Experience maintaining transport or fleet equipment
- Welding or fabrication skills
- Experience with electrical and hydraulic fault-finding

Pay and Benefits
