Electrik Avenue is looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician to join our Electrical Projects team.

This is a permanent, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working on the tools, completing quality installations and being part of an organised, supportive team.

You will primarily work across commercial projects, fit‑outs, refurbishments and electrical upgrades throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.

This is not a project management or office‑based role. Previous supervisory experience is welcome, but it is not required. We are looking for a capable tradesperson who takes pride in their work, communicates well and wants a stable long‑term position.

What You’ll Receive

- Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Friday, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Permanent, full‑time employment
- Optional RDO arrangements

- Paid training and support with relevant licence and ticket renewals
- A reliable pipeline of work across Brisbane
- Support from an established projects team
- Opportunities to develop your skills without being pushed into management

An optional on‑call roster is also available for employees who would like additional earnings. Employees who participate receive a $300 standby payment, with a minimum four‑hour payment at double time when attending a call‑out.

Participation in the on‑call roster is not a requirement of this Projects position.

The Work

You will carry out a variety of electrical project work, including:

- Commercial fit‑outs and refurbishments
- General power and lighting installations
- Switchboard installations and upgrades
- Electrical upgrades and replacement works




- Data and communications installations
- Testing and commissioning
- Fault finding associated with project works
- Working alongside apprentices and other qualified electricians
- Completing required job documentation through SimPRO

Most work is completed throughout Brisbane, with occasional work elsewhere in South East Queensland.

Any regional or away work will be discussed in advance.

About You

You will be well suited to the position if you:

- Hold a current Queensland Electrical Work Licence
- Have commercial electrical installation experience
- Enjoy remaining on the tools
- Take pride in producing safe and compliant work
- Have a sound working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Communicate professionally with clients, builders and other trades
- Are reliable, organised and able to manage your workday
- Hold a current Queensland driver licence
- Have the right to work in Australia

Recently qualified electricians with strong commercial experience are also encouraged to apply.

Additional tickets such as Working at Heights, EWP, CPR/LVR, data cabling or construction industry qualifications are beneficial but not essential. Relevant training can be arranged for the right person.
