We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Process Worker to join our production team. This hands-on role involves the assembly, soldering, testing and inspection of printed circuit boards (PCBs), cable harnesses and related electronic products.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
PCB Assembly
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components onto printed circuit boards and related assemblies.
- Solder electronic components and electrical wiring onto PCBs.
- Read and interpret PCB overlays and assembly instructions.
- Identify electronic components using colour codes and component markings.
- Ensure correct orientation and placement of components during assembly.
- Conduct testing and visual inspections in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
- Inspect, repair and touch up solder joints where required.
Cable Harness Assembly
- Manufacture and assemble cable harnesses using crimps, lugs and associated components.
- Read and follow cable harness assembly drawings and instructions.
- Perform continuity testing on cable harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Identify and distinguish coloured wiring for accurate assembly.
- Safely and effectively use crimping and assembly tools.
General Duties
- Identify and quarantine non-conforming products.
- Handle, store,
package and transport products to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Follow all quality, safety and environmental procedures.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Assist with a variety of production tasks as required.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in electronic component soldering.
- Previous PCB assembly experience.
- Wire harness or cable assembly experience (highly regarded).
- Experience using crimping tools and testing equipment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or electronics production environment.
