Your New Role
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Product & Insurance Practice, where you'll play a key role in the development, management, and governance of Aware Super's product suite. This role is responsible for shaping and managing products across superannuation and managed investment schemes, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and aligned to member and business needs. You'll work across product strategy, governance, regulatory compliance, product development, and stakeholder engagement to deliver exceptional member outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that support member and business objectives
- Manage and enhance superannuation and investment products throughout their lifecycle
- Ensure product governance frameworks, policies, and product specifications remain current and effective
- Provide expert advice on product legislation, regulation, and market developments
- Lead product governance activities, including product reviews, member outcomes assessments, and compliance obligations
- Partner with stakeholders across Investments, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Member Growth, and Advice functions
- Use market, competitor, and member insights to identify opportunities to improve product offerings
- Support regulatory change initiatives and ensure products remain compliant with evolving legislation and industry requirements.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- Experience in product management, product governance, or product development within financial services
- Strong knowledge of superannuation and/or managed investment schemes
- Broad financial services experience across wealth management,
investments, superannuation, banking, or asset management
- Understanding of regulatory obligations including DDO, product governance, and consumer protection frameworks
- Solid stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- RG146 qualifications and relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
