About the Role
Entry level role reporting to the Demand Planner, you will work closely with production, sales, finance, procurement and nursery teams to develop and maintain accurate production plans that support business growth and customer service outcomes.
You will be responsible for analysing forecasts, managing production schedules, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate planning data across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sales forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly
- Develop and maintain sowing, transplanting and production schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or excess stock
- Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;) process
- Maintain accurate master data, BOMs and planning files
- Coordinate production allocations and timing requirements
- Assist with stocktake investigations and inventory accuracy
- Provide planning support across production and operational teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
About You
You will be an analytical and detail-oriented planner who enjoys working with data and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
To be successful you will have:
- 1 to 2 years experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing planning or inventory management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and robust organisational skills
- FMGC or food industry experience desirable
