Project Coordinator Summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an organized and detail-focused Project Coordinator to join our Project & Development Services team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will provide essential project, financial and administrative support while gaining exposure to the delivery of a diverse range of property and construction projects.
This role will suit someone with strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills and previous experience in business administration or project coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative, financial and project coordination support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
- Assist with project revenue forecasting and the preparation of Project Agreement Forms.
- Raise and manage purchase orders, invoice requests and project budgets.
- Support the management of PAFs, RFPOs, debtors and other project financial processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and help ensure the financial integrity of the business unit.
- Prepare financial information and data for business reports.
- Assist with fee proposals, client presentations and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Support projects from initiation through to delivery and close-out.
- Deliver assigned projects with guidance from a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Provide guidance to new team members on relevant business processes and operational systems.
- Maintain high standards of document management and quality assurance.
About you To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in project coordination, business administration or a similar support role.
- An understanding of the Australian property, construction or building industry.
- Strong financial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using corporate or financial systems such as JDE, SAP or Workday would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to organize, prioritize and adapt in a quick-paced environment.
- A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
