Keith Engineering Australia is looking for an experienced and dedicated Mechanical Project Engineer to work for our specialised engineering company. The successful applicant will work alongside our young and dynamic projects, engineering, and drafting team.

Keith Engineering is a long established, family owned, Australian manufacturer that specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of processing equipment for the red and white meat industry. The role provides you with the opportunity to establish yourself in an expanding modern company, with strong encouragement and prospects for growth.

Job Information:

· Full time position – 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:45

· Salary position

· Primary place of work will be at our head office in Erskine Park, though travel throughout Australia as required will be expected.

Responsibilities include:

- Reading, interpreting, and reviewing design drawings and specifications

- Engaging with our engineering and drafting teams to produce layout proposals and detail drawings

- Design and develop engineering solutions to meet customer requirements

- Coordinating, overseeing, and managing all aspects of projects including costings, quoting, design, procurement,



manufacture, quality assurance, installation, and operation

- Conduct site assessments to gather technical requirements

- Coordinate and collaborate with internal team members, suppliers, sub-contractors, and customers

- Spare parts and stock item quoting

- Reporting to Keith Engineering senior management

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Experience in project management

- Experience in managing design teams and drawing offices

Skills and Attributes

- Excellent communication skills

- High attention to detail

- Experience and knowledge reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

- Strong organisational skills

- Strong sense of teamwork

- Good understanding of CAD software

- Valuable understanding and operating ability of Microsoft Office

- Permanent residency and full-time working rights in Australia
