Role Description The Project Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

The Project

Engineer will oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include reviewing designs and specifications, supporting site supervisors and field teams, monitoring project progress, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The role involves liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, managing project risks, and contributing to quality, OHS, and environmental compliance.

The Project





Engineer will also assist with procurement, scheduling, and cost control, while supporting continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering skills relevant to infrastructure or water industry projects.

Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Relevant engineering degree (e.g. Civil or related discipline) and experience in construction or water infrastructure projects are highly beneficial.

Experience working on-site, familiarity with Australian standards and regulations, and proficiency with project management and engineering software are advantageous.

Current valid driver’s license and ability to work safely in field environments are desirable.
