Contractors is a growing electrical contracting business delivering commercial and industrial projects across New South Wales. We're a tight, hard-working team that takes pride in doing quality work and backing our people to grow. As we take on more and bigger projects, we're looking for a Project Manager to join our Sydney team and help drive our electrical jobs from award through to completion.

This role suits someone who already has project management or contract administration capability and is confident with systems, paperwork and written communication. You'll manage electrical projects from award through to completion, working closely with our experienced project managers, with a genuine pathway to senior project management. About the role

You'll take responsibility for the delivery of our electrical projects — keeping jobs on program, on budget and compliant. It's a hands-on role blending procurement, scheduling, project administration and site coordination, with scope to take on larger projects as you build knowledge of our clients and processes. What you'll be doing • Coordination & scheduling — planning, scheduling and sequencing works to hit project programs and milestones and flagging delays or clashes early.

- Procurement — raising purchase orders, comparing supplier quotes, tracking deliveries and making sure materials arrive on time and to spec.
- Project & contract administration — keeping project documentation accurate, and assisting with variations, RFIs, progress claims and general contract admin.
- Cost & reporting — helping track project costs and supporting budget monitoring and reporting.




- Compliance & quality — supporting WHS, electrical standards and company procedures, and compiling quality, safety and handover documentation (ITPs, O&M; manuals, as-builts).
- Communication — liaising with clients, head contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams; attending meetings, taking minutes and following up actions. What you'll bring
- Demonstrated project management or contract administration experience — you can run jobs, not just assist on them.
- A solid understanding of electrical or building services work, gained in a contracting, trade or construction workplace.
- A sound working knowledge of procurement and scheduling processes.
- Strong computer literacy — Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) at a professional working level, and the confidence to pick up job-management systems quickly.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

- An electrical trade qualification and/or electrical licence — valued, but not essential.
- Prior exposure to project management, estimating or contract administration on electrical or construction projects.
- Familiarity with project or job-management software (e.g. Simpro, Procore,, MYOB).
