We are a busy and well-established CPA practice located in Berwick with a large and diverse client base. We provide professional accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and business advisory services to individuals and businesses across a range of industries.

We are currently seeking a well‑organised, confident, and motivated accounting professional to join our team on a part‑time basis, working 3 days per week (22.5 hours).

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Company, and Superannuation Fund tax returns
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
- Preparation of financial statements for all entity types
- Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date client records and documentation
- Liaising with the ATO and ASIC on client matters
- Assisting clients with taxation and compliance enquiries
- Managing multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism

Key Requirements





- Minimum of 4 years' recent experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm, managing a high volume of taxation compliance work (this is an essential requirement).
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience using HandiTax, Xero and MYOB (experience with all three is highly desirable).
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting and/or Taxation
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
- Solid time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled presentation and client‑focused approach
- Valid Australian work visa is required for this position
