Job Description

Marama Wholesale Meats are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Butchers to join their team in Dandenong South VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Prepare meat for wholesale and retail sale using a wide variety of processes
- Removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size as ordered
- Prepare crumbed cuts of meat, and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts
- Select and prepare meat to produce smallgoods
- Operate machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat
- Make seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients
- Operate sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats

Skills and Abilities:

- Must have 3 years' experience as a Butcher
- Certificate III in Meat Processing or related Qualification
- OH&S; awareness
- Food Handling and RSA certificates required

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 21st July 2026 and closes on 21st August 2026
