About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wardrobe - Kitchen Installer to join the team at Hills Robes and Kitchens. This is a full-time position based in Salisbury South, SA 5106. In this role, you will be responsible for the professional installation of custom sliding wardrobes, hinged robes and kitchens in residential properties. You will work closely with our design and project management teams to ensure every installation meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position is integral to our business, as our reputation is built on the quality of our installations and customer satisfaction.Vehicle is supplied .

Key responsibilities

- Install custom-built wardrobes, sliding robes and kitchen cabinetry in residential properties with precision and professionalism

- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and installation plans to ensure accuracy

- Prepare installation sites, including measuring, levelling and marking out areas for installation

- Fit and secure pre assembled cabinetry, doors, drawers, shelving and hardware according to design specifications

- Ensure all installations are plumb, level and square, making necessary adjustments to guarantee quality finishes

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

- Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with completed work

- Perform quality checks on finished installations and rectify any issues promptly

- Maintain vehicle and equipment in valuable working condition

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in wardrobe, sliding robe or kitchen installation, ideally 1+ years in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of carpentry and cabinet-making techniques and best practices

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately





- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to site-specific challenges

- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work

- Valid driver's licence as company car is included.

- Current police check or willingness to obtain one

- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items and work at heights safely

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and a strong safety-first mindset

- Qualifications or certifications in carpentry, cabinet making or related trades are highly desirable
