Our client is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to work in a permanent part-time capacity to lead the day-to-day operations of their busy clinic near Turabeach Medical Centre.

About the Role
Reporting to the Practice Principals, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the practice while providing leadership and support to the reception and clinical administration team.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of patient service, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements, and driving continuous improvement across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows and excellent patient experiences.
Lead, mentor, and support the reception and administrative team.
Manage Medicare billing, banking, accounts, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with RACGP Standards for General Practices, privacy legislation, and relevant healthcare regulations.
Coordinate accreditation activities, quality improvement programs, and risk management initiatives.
Maintain practice policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
Build positive working relationships with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, patients,
and external stakeholders.
Manage supplier relationships, contracts, equipment, and facility requirements.
Support the ongoing growth and development of the practice through innovation and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist /Practice Manager or have worked in a healthcare management position.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
Strong knowledge of Medicare billing, private billing, and medical practice operations.
Experience managing practice accreditation and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience with Best Practice, MedicalDirector, HotDoc, or similar practice management software is highly regarded.
