We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who knows how to bring people together, navigate complexity and get things moving.

This is a business-facing Project Manager role within an established IT team, working across a portfolio of software and technology projects that will have a genuine impact on how the organisation operates.

You’ll work closely with business leaders, SMEs, technology teams and external partners to understand what needs to be achieved, build the right delivery approach and take projects from idea through to successful delivery and BAU.

We're looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership from discovery through to delivery, rather than simply managing a defined implementation.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects from discovery and planning through to delivery, transition and benefits realisation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, define outcomes and develop practical delivery plans.
- Build strong relationships across IT and the wider business, acting as a trusted and pragmatic project partner.
- Lead project planning, scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Bring cross-functional teams together around a clear purpose, creating momentum and accountability.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings and stakeholder discussions, ensuring different perspectives are heard and decisions are made.
- Manage vendors and third-party providers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide clear, concise reporting to senior stakeholders, the Project Delivery Manager and governance forums.
- Identify risks and issues early and take a proactive approach to resolving them.
- Support business change, communications, training and readiness activities to ensure solutions are successfully adopted.
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and governance.




- Lead project close-out, lessons learned and benefit realisation.

You may have built your career within a consultancy, professional services environment or an organisation delivering a diverse portfolio of technology projects . You know how to quickly understand a new business environment, build credibility with stakeholders and work out what needs to happen next.

You’ll bring:

- Significant experience delivering software and technology projects.
- A strong track record managing projects end-to-end.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A consultative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across different levels of an organisation.
- Confidence facilitating conversations, workshops and decision-making with a range of stakeholders.
- The ability to bring technical and non-technical people together and create a collaborative delivery environment.
- Solid commercial, risk, governance and project management capability.
- Experience managing external vendors and delivery partners.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to influence and challenge when required.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The adaptability to work across different projects, stakeholders and business areas.
