Reporting to the Strategic Property Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing and optimising Council's diverse property portfolio. You'll help deliver strategic property outcomes, maximise asset value and support initiatives that benefit both Council and the community.

About the Role

As the Property Portfolio Specialist, you will:

- Manage Council's leases, licences and day-to-day property matters.

- Support property portfolio reviews and the Strategic Property Plan.

- Coordinate lease renewals, rent reviews, inspections and arrears management.

- Assist with acquisitions, disposals, easements and encroachment matters.

- Monitor property performance and identify revenue improvement opportunities.

- Prepare reports, policies and recommendations on property matters.

- Provide property advice to internal and external stakeholders.

- Support property projects and transactions across Council's portfolio.

What You’ll Bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Business, Law or a related discipline.

- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.

- Experience in commercial property management, urban planning or a similar role.

- Demonstrated experience managing leases, licences and property transactions.

- Strong financial, commercial and analytical skills, including budgeting and reporting experience.

- Knowledge of property legislation, land classifications,



zoning controls and procurement processes.

- Experience developing property strategies, portfolio reviews and revenue-generating initiatives.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.

Desirable:

- Experience within Local Government, State Government or another public sector workplace.

- Experience with strata and building management committees.
