Role Description The QA Tester / Junior QA Tester (Entry / Graduate Level) role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting quality assurance processes for software and digital products. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing manual test cases, documenting test results, and reporting defects in a clear and structured manner. The role involves reviewing requirements and specifications, identifying test scenarios, and collaborating with developers or project stakeholders to clarify expected behavior.

The QA Tester will assist in creating and refining test cases, retesting resolved issues, and participating in basic regression testing to ensure that new changes do not introduce defects. The position is designed for individuals early in their careers who are eager to build strong analytical and testing skills while contributing to reliable, user-centered software outcomes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Manual Testing to validate software functionality against defined requirements.





Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Candidates should possess Quality Assurance knowledge to follow established QA processes and support continuous improvement of product quality.

Candidates should possess skills in designing and maintaining Test Cases to ensure consistent and repeatable testing coverage.

Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and defect tracking tools is beneficial.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
