Role Description The QA Tester / Junior QA Tester (Entry / Graduate Level) is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Arise Academia ©’s digital learning platforms and related applications. Day-to-day activities include executing test cases, performing manual testing of new features and updates, and documenting test results and defects clearly. The role involves collaborating with developers, product owners, and instructional designers to understand requirements, reproduce issues, and verify fixes.

The QA Tester will participate in test planning, help refine testing procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes. This position is designed for early-career professionals or graduates interested in developing strong foundations in software testing and educational technology.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Test Execution skills, including the ability to follow test plans, run test cases, and report findings accurately.





Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and attention to detail to identify issues, interpret results, and suggest improvements.

Candidates should possess foundational Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills, with a explicit understanding of basic QA concepts and workflows.

Candidates should possess the ability to design, maintain, and update Test Cases based on functional requirements and user stories.

Basic understanding of web or mobile applications and interest in educational technology (e-learning, LMS platforms) is beneficial.

Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team setting.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Entry-level experience or academic exposure to software testing, computer science, information technology, or related fields; a relevant degree or certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
