We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join the team at JAM Joinery and Construction. This is a full-time position (4 day working week) based in Winchelsea, VIC 3241. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, crafting, and installing high-quality cabinetry and joinery work for both residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities
- Design and plan cabinetry and joinery projects based on client requirements and architectural specifications
- Fabricate bespoke cabinets, drawers, doors and other joinery components using hand tools and machinery
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble materials to precise specifications
- Finish solid timber work through sanding, staining, varnishing and polishing
- Install custom cabinetry and joinery in client properties with attention to detail and quality standards
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, timesheets and material records
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular maintenance and care of workshop equipment and tools
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding design options, materials and finishes
What we're looking for
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related carpentry discipline
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in cabinet making and/or joinery work
- Proficiency in read
