Loving Start Childcare & Education is a beautiful, centre in Healesville, created with heart, purpose and a strong commitment to high‑quality early childhood education. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate, dedicated Room Leader to guide our 2–3 year old room and help shape a warm, inspiring learning environment for children, families and educators.

About the Role

As the Room Leader for our 2–3 year old room, you will:

- Lead the daily operations of the room with confidence, warmth and professionalism
- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
- Guide and mentor educators to ensure consistent, high‑quality practice
- Oversee documentation, planning and curriculum implementation
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director, Educational Leader and wider team to uphold Loving Start’s philosophy, values and Child Safe Standards

Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or higher)
- Current Working With Children Check (Employee)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
- Experience in a Room Leader or Senior educator role (preferred but not essential)




- Strong understanding of early childhood development, the EYLF and NQF
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and belonging
