Quarry Operator – Sancrox Quarry Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Quarry Operator to join our team at Sancrox Quarry, located approximately 15 minutes from Port Macquarie, New South Wales.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Quarry Manager, working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts as required. Standard start time is 6:30am, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, offering strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for:

Conducting day-to-day operation and basic maintenance of plant, vehicles, and equipment

Operating mobile equipment, including excavators, front-end loaders, and dump trucks (experience preferred)

Operating crushing and screening plants

Assisting with weighbridge operations

Performing general maintenance and contributing as a versatile quarry all-rounder

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

A robust commitment to workplace safety and a solid work ethic A current Australian Provisional or Open Driver’s Licence

Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with heavy machinery

Previous quarrying or mining experience (highly regarded)

Relevant machinery tickets (excavator, front-end loader, dump truck) – desirable

Weighbridge experience – advantageous





Confidence in using computers and ability to learn new systems The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
