The Position To provide AlburyCity with effective, customer focused regulatory services based on a broad understanding of NSW Legislation and AlburyCity Policy.

Tasks and responsibilities

- To initiate and carryout compliance and enforcement procedures including the issue of Infringements, Notices and Orders where necessary in accordance with NSW legislation and AlburyCity Policies.
- To remain knowledgeable In applicable legislation and regulation.

- To provide regulatory and inspectorial services to ensure legislative compliance.
- Car Parking Control
- Stock and Animal Control
- Public Land
- Environemnt
- Plannig and Development

Qualifications and experience

- Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have & maintain)

- The requirement to respond to and attend the Albury local government area within a reasonable time when rostered on call.
- Strong relevant experience in a regulatory role and understanding of regulatory practices in Local Governmen

Hours Based on a 38-hour week, hours of work are in accordance with a seven day a week rotating roster.



This roster may be altered in order to meet changing operational needs and service demands.
