Job Description

Brennans Welding is a welding engineering shop that has been catering to the mining industry since 1998. We specialise in underground mine VCD's and equipment supply pods. We are currently seeking to hire 3 experienced and qualified Welders to work in our two locations in Emerald QLD and Wellington NSW. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

- Adhere to WHS
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard and recognising welding specifications
- Set up equipment and weld parts, using appropriate welding equipment and methods
- Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls and routers, to cut, bend and form or straighten materials
- Proficiency in MIG,



TIC and Arc welding
- All aspects of general fabrication, welding and sheet metal work
- Ability to use Heavy machinery such as Booms & Scissor Lifts

Skills and abilities

- At least 3 years’ experience as a Welder / Metal Fabricator
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team setting

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience Full-time Positions available Application opens on 13th of July 2026 and closes on 13th of August 2026.
