Concept Products is a Perth-based company specialising in the supply and installation of industrial doorway solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant / Trainee Installer to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with basic construction experience who wants to develop their skills, work alongside experienced installers, and build a long-term career within a specialised industry.

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant / Trainee Installer, you will work alongside our experienced installation team assisting with the installation of industrial doors and doorway solutions across commercial and industrial sites throughout Perth and WA.

You will receive full training and support to develop your knowledge and skills, with the opportunity to progress into a skilled installer role.

Working hours:

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

- Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting senior installers with the installation of industrial door solutions

- Using hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively

- Preparing materials, equipment and work areas

- Supporting site installations and ensuring work is completed to a high standard

- Following workplace health and safety procedures

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

- Learning our products, installation techniques and processes

About You

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, reliable and takes pride in their work.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience using hand tools (essential)

- A current White Card (essential)





- Construction, manufacturing, trade assistant or similar experience

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude

· Flexibility to work occasional after-hours call-outs and overtime when required.

· Ability to travel and work away from home on occasion for regional projects.

· Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment may be required

- The ability to work well as part of a team

- A willingness to learn and develop new skills

Experience in industrial doors, construction, manufacturing or installation work would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
