We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Driver Trainer & Assessor to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Driver Trainer, this permanent position is primarily Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Some after-hours work may be required from time to time.

The successful applicant will assist with driver training, assessments, compliance management, and the development and maintenance of training documentation and records.

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Certificate IV in Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction, or relevant industry experience that would enable you to obtain this qualification
- Sound knowledge and experience in compliance and risk management processes
- Strong understanding of heavy vehicle operations and driver competency requirements




- Knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Law (NHVL)

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- Confidence using smartphones and mobile applications
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across various digital platforms
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Experience scheduling and reporting on training and assessments
- Ability to develop and maintain training and assessment documentation

Remuneration

Salary will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
