ZH Doctors is a growing, doctor-led healthcare group operating medical practices across Queensland.
As our clinic network continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Recruitment Officer to join our team and take ownership of recruitment across the group.
This is a hands-on recruitment position suited to someone who enjoys actively finding great people, building candidate relationships and managing the recruitment process from initial sourcing through to commencement.
About the Role
As our Recruitment Officer, you will work closely with management and clinic leadership to identify staffing requirements and recruit high-quality healthcare and administrative professionals.
A major focus of the role will be the proactive recruitment of General Practitioners, along with nurses, receptionists, practice administration staff and other positions required across our clinics.
This is an on-site, part-time employee position and is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
● Proactively source and recruit General Practitioners for our medical centres
● Recruit nurses, receptionists, administrative and other healthcare staff as required
● Create and manage job advertisements across SEEK and other recruitment platforms
● Actively search for and approach suitable candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications
● Screen applications and conduct initial candidate interviews
● Coordinate interviews with management and relevant clinic teams
● Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
● Build and maintain a pipeline of potential GP and healthcare candidates
● Conduct reference checks and assist with pre-employment requirements
● Prepare employment documentation and coordinate onboarding
● Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases
● Develop relationships with recruitment networks, universities and other relevant industry contacts
● Work with management to identify current and future staffing requirements across our clinics
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and genuinely enjoys recruitment.
You will ideally have
● Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or a similar role
● Experience in healthcare or medical recruitment highly regarded
● Experience recruiting General Practitioners would be a significant advantage
● Solid candidate sourcing and headhunting skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Confidence approaching and engaging prospective candidates
● Strong organisational and follow-up skills
● Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
● A professional and personable approach
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of recruitment outcomes
● Good understanding of confidentiality and professional workplace standards
